Tired of dealing with the rigmarole necessary to run your friends' unsigned applications on macOS? Especially since macOS 15 (aka Sequoia) where they make it an irritating multi-step process?

After you install this simple little quick action, all you have to do is right-click on the file (application, disk image, whatever) and then select "Quick Actions" then "dequarantine," and then, yay, it'll work.

All this tool does is remove the macOS "quarantined download" flag from the file (by running xattr -d com.apple.quarantine) and makes no modifications to the file contents. If the application was already safe to run, it remains safe to run.
