Love and Monsters

This was the second full-length album I'd released under the virtual band name "Sockpuppet," back in 2011.  All of the songs were originally written for Song Fight!, and were mostly me experimenting with different genres and trying to get a lot better at music composition and production in general.

Many of the songs were also rerecorded or even rearranged from their original versions, which are available in the optional "extras" bundle. Even then, it's pretty rough by my current standards (especially with the mix and overall production) but I still like most of the songs and have a soft spot for the album as a whole.

I also still perform a further evolution of many of these songs at my rare live shows.
