Transitions

These are some of my oldest songs, all but one of them written back when I first started writing songs with lyrics. They have been completely reimagined and rearranged as a celebration of where I started and of how far I've come.

These songs serve as a sort of soundtrack to my life, especially in those days of the early 2000s, when I was struggling with gender and my mental health, and trying to figure out what I even wanted to be when I grew up (in more ways than one). They've been sitting on a shelf, fermenting for decades, and they are songs that I am finally ready to share with the world.

They tell a story of aspiration and heartbreak, of being trapped by my circumstances and escaping, and ultimately finding my own path forward.

These songs are super personal and personally-meaningful, and I am glad that they are finally out there in the world.
