Do you make music? Have you ever wanted to distribute your music on your choice of website, such as itch.io? Have you ever wanted to provide a player preview that looks nice and is easy to put on whatever website you want?

Use the local GUI application to set up your album, and press a button, and voila! You have it encoded in a bunch of file formats. What's more, it builds a little HTML-based player that you can upload pretty much anywhere that you can host files — including itch.io, and this can then be easily embedded onto pretty much any other website.

And,  by installing itch's amazing butler tool, you can even automate the distribution of your album to itch! Want to make a couple changes and don't want to go through a lot of rigamarole to fix it everywhere? Click a button and, bam! Updated.

This tool is how I upload most of my music to itch.  I find it incredibly convenient, anyway.

Features

  • Easily set up an album for sale or download on the Internet without being tied to any specific digital store
  • Rapidly encode to a multitude of formats (MP3, Ogg, FLAC) with top-tier metadata tags, all with the push of a button
  • Multithreaded encoding for ultimate speed and less waiting
  • Automatically build an HTML preview
  • Automated uploads to itch.io

Usage

See the online manual, particularly the sections on using the GUI and uploading to itch.io.
