Crossfading music player for Unity
I know, we all hate Unity now, but a lot of people are still using Unity for their game jam games (and I don't blame them, learning a new engine is hard!). A thing that game jam games absolutely never get right is crossfading music playback. I wrote this component a year ago to finally settle the issue for good on game jam games written in Unity, and even then it still didn't really get used on the jam game I wrote it for, but maybe now that it's polished and released someone will finally want to use it?
Maybe someone will find this useful.
Incidentally the audio here is the looping BGM variant of Novembeat 2022. My favorite track when played this way is Space Whales. Frozen Lands is pretty good too.
