It's the final stretch


Aside from improving the ROAMING EYE's visuals substantially, this build is mostly for compatibility and bug-fixes prior to the end of the jam.  I doubt I'll get Flappy Bat done in the next 12 hours, but maybe I'll finally get around to doing another brick spawn pattern I've been meaning to do in order to fill in some of the empty spots.

Also I've tested the game on mobile! There's no input but the visuals work. Mostly. The water effect has to fall back to lower-precision buffers and as a result the results can be a bit... peculiar. They're more like a nebula than a reflecting pool of water. But it still looks neat. And I also made it so that if there's no floatingpoint buffer support at all it'll just disable the water entirely and (hopefully) not crash.

So yeah, my top priorities for the remainder of the jam are:

  • Brick spawns
  • One more visual effect I had in mind
